Great post. I too signed up a little while back for one of our websites (after seeing that someone had given us a thumbs up tweet), but quickly stopped using it.

This was a GREAT article! One tip would be to use a service like TwitterLocal to find twitterers in certain a Geographic radius and market a “drive to” special to fill up midweek nights or shorter stays.
